There are many ways to make money at home, but with content marketing, you can do it for free. You see Google needs to display content relevant to the searches people do online. Writing content will allow you to literally position yourself in-front of people who are looking for information you offer. So how do you get yourself in-front of these high quality prospects? And how do you make money from writing your articles?

You must first sign up for an affiliate network. There are plenty of them out there. I recommend these networks, ClickBank, Commission Junction and Amazon. They offer the best converting products on a large range of platforms.

You will want to build a mailing list. To do this, you need an auto-responder service like Aweber and a lead capture page. This is a one page website that captures the name and email address of your prospects. You can find software that will enable you to create a lead capture page in minutes. To increase your opt-in rate I suggest giving people a reason to join. Offer a free gift or download in exchange for their name and email.

Start writing articles and send people to your lead capture page. This is where you will be building a list. People will read an article you wrote and click through to your lead capture page. From there, they will decide whether or not they want to join your list. In order to succeed with this technique, you need to be consistent with your writing.

You need to set a goal. How many people do you want to come to your website? How many subscribers do you want to join your mailing list? If you wrote 10 articles per day and each article received 2 clicks and a 50% opt-in rate you would be getting 20 clicks and 10 subscribers per day. This is a good goal to shoot for. I find that the above example is a recipe for a full-time income online. However, you must have good products in your email marketing campaign. This will ensure that people purchase the products.

Start writing multiple articles every day and submit them to the best online directories. Here are my favorite directories: ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, hubpages.com, squidoo.com and pubarticles.com. These are the exact content directories that I submit all of my articles to. Submit an article to each one when you first start.
